Overview: This course goes into greater detail on the techniques taught in the Intermediate course. More attention will be paid to the use of stylesheets and JavaScript to add functionality to a website.  This course will also explain how to add audio, video and animations to a website from the encoding of the multimedia files to the code used to create a link to the file on the web page.  Different types of software available to produce multimedia files will be discussed as well as issues of file size and bandwidth capacity.   By the end of the course the student should be able to create effective, interactive websites and should understand how to embed multimedia elements into the site.
